Author. Knitter. Amnesiac.

A few years ago, my gallbladder ruptured, cutting off oxygen to my brain. After emergency surgery, when I woke, I couldn’t remember who I was. Where I was. Where I’d been. I’d forgotten 99% of my entire existence.

Armed with an MFA in Creative Arts, I’ve chosen creativity as my weapon of choice. This site is where I share my world of mixed media creative endeavors. In a previous life, I published three romance novels under my alter ego, Lilli Feisty. Now I’m writing my memoir, And She Was.

Some Things Feisty Didn’t Forget

  • She has an undergraduate degree in Creative Arts and a Master of Arts in Museum Studies.

  • She owned an art gallery in Genoa, NV.

  • She has ADHD.

  • She’s written and published three romance novels, under the pen name Lilli Feisty.

  • She’s a real genetic mutant. She’s a carrier of hemochromatosis, a genetic disorder that causes the body to absorb and store too much iron. She manages her iron-shenanigans by going for routine bloodletting. (She secretly hopes that, one day, her phlebotomist will be Spike.)

  • She can, very poorly, play the flute and the ukulele.

  • She accumulated many hours building large-scale art projects at Burning Man.

  • She grew up in Humboldt County, California.

  • She’s visited Ireland, England, France, Spain, Portugal, Scotland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Mexico, and... and...Texas.

  • When her gallbladder ruptured, she was standing in her kitchen, staring at the remnants of mostly gorged strawberry cheesecake.

  • She knits. A lot.

  •  She sometimes, unconsciously, writes about herself in the third person. She’s not sure why.
